Wow, what a wonderful festival! Thanks to all the volunteers that helped out. A special thanksto our
ladies who stepped up and help around the festival grounds. Several also volunteered their time in the
Cultural Hall. Our ladies rock! NO AUGUST MEETING. Enjoy the rest of your summer and get the
kiddo’s ready for school.

THANKS LADIES “YOU ROCK”
I wanted to say thanks to all of the IAWI ladies for all that you do throughout the year. We have
donated items to YESS, Ronald Mc Donald House, Orchard Place, and Ken Eaton Foundations
Blessing Bags, as well as crafts for the festival and gift cards to the festival Mama Mia recognition
and the queen contest. We sponsored a golf hole for Hospice of Central Iowa and donated money to a
special friend at the Vittoria Lodge so she could get her a bike. We were happy to donate bake goods
for the St. Anthony’s fish fry and tattoos for the Tumea and Sons 20 year celebration on 8/5. We know
we will have fun making pasta necklaces with the children that same day.

Everyone should be proud! We may have only 94 members but as you can see, we are mighty and are
making a difference in our community!

MOVIE NIGHT
We are gathering names to go see Mama Mia “Here We Go Again” so if you are interested let Lisa
know soon. Date & time TBD
